Notes: Benjamin Vern Bullock and his wife Clara Peterson Bullock made their home in Provo, Utah
Utah. In the 1940 U.S. census, B. Vern Bullock, 32, and his wife Clara P. Bullock, 29, were living at
96 W Tenth North, Provo. B. Vern was an insulator at a Rock Works Co. They owned their house
with a value of $1,500. B. Vern had completed one year of college and Clara had completed 4 years of
high school. Their two sons were B. Neil, 4, and K. Hart, 3.
The Provo, Utah, City Directories list various Provo addresses for the couple through the years.
In 1935, shortly after their marriage, they are listed living with his parents at
470 N 1st East, Provo. In 1939 they are listed at 96 W 10th North, and in 1941 through 1946 at
100 W 10th North. In 1950 through 1959 they are listed at 100 W 960 North, Provo.
The Provo, Utah, City Directories also list B. Vern variously as a miner, a laborer, an acetylene opr,
a mining supt, and a mining eng, with various companies including Pac States CIPCo, Geneva Steel, and
Syndicate Oil & Mineral Co. |
