Notes: Alfred Lincoln Miller was born 12 Feb 1926 at the Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, Union, New Jersey. He was the fourth child of Peter John Miller and Evelyn Mae Baldwin. He was given his middle name as he was born on Lincoln's Birthday, and from an early age was known as Al. He had two older brothers, John Leslie (Jack) and Robert Alfred (Bob), and a sister Frances Dorthea (Fran). The family moved often, sometimes living in houses, and sometimes in flats over storefronts. Al grew up mainly in Perth Amboy. The family was soon joined by brother and Wilfred Baldwin (Will). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
