Notes: Robina was born 13 Sep 1869 in Logan, Perth, Ontario, Canada. She was the first child of Alexander Campbell and Mary Brown. Her name was spelled "Rubenia" in the birth registry. In the 1871 Canada census, Rubenia, age 1, was living with her parents in Logan Twp., Perth (North). Her father was a farmer. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Notes: In the 1881 Canada census, Robina, now 12, had
younger brothers and sisters, namely: Andrew, 9, Thomas, 7, Maggie, 5, George, 3, and John,
1 year. In the 1891 Canada census, Robina, was now 21, and her brothers
and sisters were: Andrew, 19, Thomas, 17, Maggie, 15, George, 13, John, 11, Mary, 9, William, 7,
Minnie, 5, Robert, 3, and Jennie, 3 months. Also enumerated nearby in the Logan Twp.,
was the family of Walter and Agnes Noble.. Robina married James Noble, the oldest son of Walter and Agnes Noble, on 27 Jan 1892 in Elma, Perth, Ontario. In the 1901 Canada census, Robina and James were living in Grey Township, Huron, Ontario. The family consisted of their first four children, namely, Walter, Harvey, Lena and Stuart. They had a domestic servant, Mary Parrott. In the 1911 Canada census, they were still living in the Grey Township, and Ralph, John (Jack) and Jean had been added to the family. Their home was the family farm in Cranbrook, Huron. Except for Harvey, all of their children were born in Ontario. In the 1921 Canada census, the family was still living on their Cranbrook farm. Lena, Ralph, Jack and Jean were still living at home. Jim died 10 Apr 1942. Robina died 23 May 1968 in Brussels, Huron, Ontario, living to be almost 100 years.
