Notes: Harriet Ellen Wadsworth was born 27 Oct 1875 in Panaca, Lincoln, Nevada. She was the
ninth of ten children of George Allen Wadsworth and Elizabeth Broadbent. Her older siblings were
Nephi John, born in 1856, Hannah Salina, 1859, George William, 1861, David Thomas, 1863, Joshua Charles,
1865, Joseph Heber, 1868, Willis Arthur, born 1871 (died 1873), and Elizabeth Alice, 1873. Her
younger brother was Benjamin F., born in 1879. In the 1880 U.S. census, Harriet's family was living in Panaca, Lincoln, Nevada. Her father was a farmer, and her mother was keeping house. The children at home were Nephi, a teamster married to Eliza, George, David, Joshua, Joseph, Elizabeth, Harriet E., and Benjamin. Harriet married Francis Clemons Walker on 10 Apr 1895 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. They were often referred to as Frank and Hattie. Their first son, Owen Francis, was born in 1896 in Utah. Their son Harold Rummell was born in 1897, and daughter Eola in 1899, both in Nevada. In the 1900 U.S. census, the family was living in Deer Lodge, Lincoln, Nevada. Deer Lodge was a small mining town. Her husband Frank was a carpenter. Their daughter Faye was born in 1900, son Arville Lazell in 1902, and son Clemons Elmer in 1909. In the 1910 U.S. census, the family was living in Pioche, Lincoln, Nevada. They owned their house, and Frank was a mechanical engineer. Their son Earl Wadsworth (Bill) was born in 1914, and daughter Irene in 1919. In the 1920 U.S. census, Pioche, Nevada, the family owned their home free of mortgage. Frank was a stationery engineer in a butcher shop. Their children at home included Rummell, a clerk in retail merchandise, Arville, a stationery engineer in a silver mine, Clemons, attending school, Earl, and Irene. In the 1930 U.S. census, Pioche, Nevada, Hattie and Frank were living on County Road. Their home was worth $2,000. Frank was a deputy sheriff. The children at home included Harold and Clemons, both stationery engineers in the mining industry, Earl, and Irene. In the 1940 U.S. census, Pioche, Nevada, Hattie and Frank were living in the same house as in 1935, now worth $2,500. Frank was a civil engineer working on his own account. Their daughter Irene was living in the household with her husband Daniel Sullivan and a daughter Colleen, 8 months. Also in the household was their son Harold R. Walker. Hattie had completed eighth grade. Harriet died 14 Oct 1950 in Pioche, Lincoln, Nevada. Frank died 3 Oct 1953 in Boulder City, Clark, Nevada.
