Notes: Eva Myrtle Detwiller was born 27 Jul 1892 in Cornwallis R.M., Manitoba. She was the eighth child of James Detwiller and Selina Baker. Six of her older siblings had been born in Middlesex, Ontario. These included Charles, born in 1876, Minnie Etta, 1878, Julia Maud, 1881, Emma Georgina, 1882, John William , 1884, and James Christian, 1886.

Shortly after James was born, the family had moved west to the Province of Manitoba. In the 1891 Canada census, they were living in the Rural Muncipality of Cornwallis. Her brother Franklin was born in 1888, and she was last in 1892. In the 1901 Canada census, the family was living in the Glenwood/Hayfield area near Brandon, Manitoba. Sometime after the 1911 Canada census, the family moved and were living in Cornwallis near Brandon, Manitoba. In the 1916 Manitoba census, only James, Franklin and Eva were living at home.

Eva married Charles Morrow. They had at least one son, W.J. Morrow. Charles died 25 Apr 1953 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Eva's last address was 5958 Booth Avenue, Burnaby, British Columbia. Eva died 15 Nov 1975 at Willingdon Private Hospital, Burnaby. Cause of death was breast cancer. Eva was buried 19 Nov 1975 in the Ocean View Cemetery, Burnaby, British Vancouver.
