Notes: George Olson, age 35, and Mattie Trantum Walton, age 30, were married
1 Nov 1918 in Spokane, Spokane, Washington. Their first son, Robert Walton (Bobby)
was born 27 Dec 1919 in Adams County, Washington.
In the 1920 U.S. census, they were living
with her father in Ritzsville City, Adams, Washington. Bobby was five months old. |
Their life-long residence was at 419 South 6th Street, Alhambra, Los Angeles,
California. Here they raised their three sons, which included a set of
twins, George Wilbur and Frank Wilfred born 12 Aug 1924. In the 1940 U.S. census,
only their twins were still living at home. George was a manager at the lumber company,
and their home was valued at $3,000.
George died 21 Sep 1951, and Mattie died 11 Jan 1972.
Both are buried in the Live Oak Memorial Park
in Monrovia, California. |
