Notes: Timothy Hoyt, 28, and Lela Hinton, 19, were married 25 Jan 1927 in Kanab, Kane, Utah.
Their first daughter Cleyone Hoyt was born 10 Nov 1927 in Hurricane, Washington, Utah. She died of a
congenital heart disease on 11 Dec 1927 in Hurricane. She is buried in the
Hurricane City Cemetery.
In the 1930 U.S. census, Timothy and Lela were living on Third North in Hurricane, Washington, Utah.
Timothy was a sheep stockman working on his own account. They owned the farm, and had a radio.
Their daughter Alice was 1 year, 3 months. Their son Timothy Hal was born 30 Apr 1932 in Hurricane.
In the 1940 U.S. census, Timothy and Lela were living on the same farm as in 1935,
in Hurricane. They owned their farm, valued at $2000. Timothy was a hack driver
in agriculture, working on his own account. He had completed 8th grade. Lela had completed 4 years
of high school. Their children were Alice, 11, and T. Hal, 7. A daughter Ann MaRie was born 27 Jan 1943
in Hurricane.
Timothy died 16 Feb 1970, and Lela died 24 Jul 1979. They are buried in the
Hurricane City Cemetery, Hurricane, Washington, Utah. |
