Notes: Laurence Peterson and Wavie Orilla Williams were married 7 Jan 1933 in Las Vegas, Clark,
Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on 29 Mar 1933. Four
children were born of this marriage. In the 1934 Salt Lake City, City Directory, Laurence and Wavie were living at 121 William Avenue, Salt Lake City. Laurence was the office manager of Mid-Western Dairy Products. In the 1935 Directory, their address was 207 E. 13th South, Salt Lake City, and Laurence was an accountant for the same company. In the 1940 U.S. census, Laurence and Wavie were living in a rented house on Main Street in Milford, Beaver, Utah. Laurence was the manager of a wholesale creamery, and had earned $1,680. in 1939. He had completed three years of college, and Wavie had completed two years. Their children were Larry W., 5, Patricia, 3, and John D., 2 months. Their fourth child Laurelee was born following the census. In the 1944 Provo, City Directory, Laurence and Wavie were living at 740 N. 5th East, Provo, Utah. Laurence was employed by Geneva Steel. The family moved to Hawaii. On 2 May 1946, Wavie, along with the four children, sailed from San Francisco, California aboard the S.S. Monterey, arriving in Honolulu, Hawaii on 7 May 1946. Laurence and Wavie, with the four children, returned to San Francisco aboard the S.S. Lurline on 18 Jun 1951. Upon their return to the mainland, Laurence and Wavie lived in a series of Southern California cities, including Glendale, Downey, La Canada, and San Diego. Laurence retired from American Pipe and Steel in 1970. They were both active in the LDS church, and served on an LDS Oregon mission in 1974. The last years of their life were spent in Provo, Utah. Wavie died 12 Aug 1990 in Provo, Utah. Laurence died 8 Jan 1999 at the home of a daughter in Highland, Utah.
