Notes: Avery Alvin Bishop and Anna Beth Reeder were married 10 Nov 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple,
Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. They shared the wedding ceremony with Grant S. Nielsen and Jewell
Christensen.
In the 1940 U.S. census, Alvin A. Bishop, 25, and Anna B. Bishop, 24, were living on East First North, Logan,
Cache, Utah. Alvin had completed 5 years of college and was a civil engineer working for the government.
Anna had completed four years of college.
Alvin and Anna Beth raised a family of two girls and two boys. They lived mostly in Logan, where the
Utah State Agricultural College (now the Utah State University) was located, but spent time in Pine Bluff,
Arkansas and Fort Collins, Colorado. Alvin's profession as an Irrigation Engineer and as Professor at
USU allowed them the opportunity to travel the world.
Alvin died 31 May 1990 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. Anna Beth died 3 Dec 2009 in Logam Cache,
Utah. They are buried in the Logan City Cemetery, Logan, Cache, Utah. |
