Royal Barney "SPRINGVILLE - Royal Barney, 70, 1190 South 4th East, Springville, died of a heart attack Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. in his home. Born May 31, 1894, in Escalante, Garfield County, to Joseph S. and Lucy Ellen Heaps Barney. Married Lilly Mae Moosman, Oct. 11, 1916, in Escalante. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Active in Sunday School Superintendency; priesthood teacher; high priest. Farmer, sheep raiser, Landscape Gardener, Brigham Young University, for last 12 years. Survivors: widow, Springville; 11 sons and daughters.
