| Recent Wedding Is Announced "PIOCHE, Oct 6. (Special) -- Mr. and Mrs. Heber L. Magleby, of Monroe, Utah, announced the marriage of their daughter, MacVoy, to Owen C. Walker of Pioche, son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Walker. The marriage took place on Monday, September 16, at the home of the bride's parents. Kenneth Isbell of the Richfield Fourth Ward performed the ceremony. The bride was gowned in pink chiffon, and was attended by her sister, Miss Zola Magleby. Twin nieces, Jean and Joan Isbell, were flower girls. The bride is a recent graduate of the Monroe high school and was active in student affairs. For the past summer she has been employed at the Pioche Pharmacy. She is the sister of Mrs. Mel Cowley of Pioche. Mr. Walker was a member of the graduating class of 1938 at the Lincoln county high school, and for the past two years has attended the University of Nevada, in the mining engineering course. After a month's wedding trip the couple will return to Pioche, where Mr. Walker is leasing. They will make their home in the Christian apartments." |
