Notes: John McFarren and Mary AnnJackson were married in Wells County, Indiana, on
23 Nov 1860. Their daughters Louisa and Harriet were born
there in 1862 and 1864.
Two 1864 deeds show that John and Mary Ann owned 50% of
100 acres, as described above, for just over three months.
They sold this land for $500.00 and appear to have made $250.00 profit.
John and Mary Ann moved to Northern Missouri in late 1864, and in 1865 were living in
Otoe County, Nebraska. |
