Notes: This family's early years were spent in England. In 1875 daughter Sarah Elizabeth
was born in the village of Stanley, near Newcastle-on-the-Tyne, England.
After arriving in Canada in 1878, the family settled in the township of Caradoc in
Middlesex County. In August 1878 daughter Caroline was born there. The
family remained there for two years, and then moved to the front Concession of Plympton,
near the village of Errol, where the children spent the rest of their youth.
William and Sarah Ann outlived their three children — who passed on in 1919,
1902, and 1911, respectively.
