a laborer at a gypsum mill. Their children were Keith, 4, Nadine, 3, Elivin, 2, and Jeanniene, 11
months.
In the 1940 U.S. census, Frank Cole, 42, and his wife Elma, 36, were living in the same house as in 1936 on Center
Street, in Nephi, valued at $1,000. Frank was a weed eradication foreman for the Work Projects
Administration. He had completed eighth grade; Elma had completed three years of high school. Their
children were Keith, 14, Nadine, 13, Elwin, 12, Jeannine, 10, Lu Rae, 8, Carma, 7, Gail, 6, Carolyn, 5, Erma, 2,
Lanna Ross, 1, and an infant, 2 months. The older six children had been attending school. |
