Miss Helen Walsen Marries Duane W. Stewart claimed Miss Helen Walsen for his bride Friday in rites performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Spencer W. Kimball of the Council of Twelve Apostles officiated. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Walsen, Pleasant Grove, and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Stewart, Hinckley." . . . The bride was graduated from Brigham Young University where she was active in music circles. She sang with the BYU a calella choir and was a member of the Student Program Bureau. The bridegroom was graduated from College of Southern where he also was active in music circles. He has fulfilled an LDS mission to Finland. After a short honeymoon trip to Yellowstone National Park, the couple will live in Provo where the bridegroom will continue his studies at BYU. |
