Notes: John(#3) and Mary Ann McFarren moved from the Nebraska Territory to Southwest Missouri.
Their son Franklin was born in Benton County, Missouri in 1867. By 1868 or 1869,
John and Mary Ann had moved back to Nebraska where their son Benjamin and
daughters Della May and Pheobe Jane were born.
In the 1870 U.S. census, John "McFenni", 31, and his wife Mary, 26, were living in Avoca,
Cass Nebraska. Their children were Louisa, 9, Harriet, 7, Franklin 6, and Benjamin, 1.
John was a farmer, with a personal estate of $900.
Their daughters Della May and Phoebe Jane were born in 1871 and 1874 respectively. By 1876,
John and Mary Ann had moved back to Missouri, where their son William Henry was born in Neosho, Newton County in December 1876. |
