Notes: This was the Cranbrook farm in Grey Township that was the family home for
many years. In the 1901 Canada census, James and Robina had only four children. A
domestic servant, Mary Parrott, was living with them. In the 1911 Canada census,
three more children had been added to the family.
In the 1921 Canada census, the farm was enumerated in the Huron East district. James, 54,
was a carpenter. Robena was 52; Lena, 22, Ralph 15, a wrather? or waiter?, Jack 13, a
public school student, and Jean, 10, a public school student. |
